Are you our next Team Member?
We are currently seeking a Superintendent Mine Shaft at our Colonsay location. The successful candidate will plan, coordinate and direct the safe operation, production, repair, and maintenance of Colonsays two shafts, shaft facilities, hoists, headframes, and services to all site workgroups. The Superintendent will work to maintain safe and efficient hoisting of mined ore, personnel and materials, directly supporting the safe execution of the Mine plan.

What will you be working on?
* Evaluates and recommends the purchase of additional or replacement shaft equipment necessary to achieve the Mine plan. Coordinates, identifies and recommends shutdown work to ensure efficient operation of all shaft area equipment. Plans and implements predictive and preventive maintenance strategies and techniques, to ensure that the Hoist Plant Asset condition is maintained at high standard and incompliance with applicable regulations.
* Implements and coordinates safe and efficient hoisting procedures to attain scheduled production tonnage at minimum cost.

What is required for this role?
* High School/GED required. Engineering Bachelor's Degree, majoring in Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
* 10 years of shaft/hoist experience.
* P. Eng. preferred.
