We are looking for an Operations Manager for our pesticide container recycling facility in Naicam, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Head Operations Manager in Regina and serving as a member of the Curtis Construction management team, this position's primary responsibility will be overseeing the day to day operations at the facility.
Responsibilities:
Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of operations and to ensure operations are run in a cost effective manner.
Assist in dispatching trucks to pickup locations in Saskatchewan.
Responsible for the supervision, hiring training and coaching of all employees.
Oversee the entire safety program, in co-ordination with the companys safety director, which includes ensuring that all safety procedures and practices are adhered to by all employees and outside parties.
Ensure all government regulations and standards for pesticide waste and recycling are adhered to and/or exceeded.
Oversee a truck and trailer and equipment maintenance program.
Oversee the maintaining of inventory in the yard.
Drive initiatives as directed by the management team.
Qualifications
At least 3-5 years experience in operational Management
1A driving license would be a definite asset, but not a mandatory requirement for the job.
Knowledge of the operation of shredders would be an advantage.
Experience and certification in operating equipment such as skid steers and loaders.
Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff and/or initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace environment.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and set priorities within a fast paced environment.

Salary will be dependent on experience.
