Description

The mission of Regina Youth for Christ is to communicate to youth the life-changing message of Jesus Christ, showing concern for the whole person and challenging them to become his disciples.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating and supervising youth discipleship programs, as well as overseeing all aspects of mentor/youth matches.  

Duties:
-Have expert knowledge of mentoring program policies and procedures
-Build healthy relationships with youth and mentors in different programs by providing training, guidance and an atmosphere of care and trust.
-Work towards set targets for Mentoring and Discipleship programs fundraising.
-Supervise closely all mentor/youth matches and any volunteer training session.
-Create and coordinate youth discipleship initiatives such as youth home groups, alpha courses, bible studies and outreach events.
-Develop volunteer recruitment programs
-Oversee all program evaluation activities with the following criteria: You are helping to shape young leaders by making life-long disciples of Jesus Christ.
-Develop and manage relationships with schools, training centers, local churches, pastors, businesses and community-based organizations.
-Create and oversee on-going mentor recruitment plans; including development of annual recruitment and quarterly activity plans, marketing material and presentations to a targeted group.
- Attend RYFCs Regional/National Conferences to improve skills with regards to Mentoring Programs and Youth Discipleship programs.
-Ensure your presence at key community events to strengthen recruitment procedures for new mentors and financial support.
-Follow RYFCs policy and procedure when handling time sheets, reports, budgeting and confidential information.
-Relational Mission Support Raising
All RYFC are required to build a strong relational base of missionary support, including financial support.
