Summer Student JobStryde Contracting is seeking (2) summer labourers to join the team for the 2017 landscaping season! (Tentively May Sept)
Candidates must be reliable, eager to learn, and approach each day with a positive attitude and be excited to take on job tasks. The work schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, with the occasional weekend when necessary. This position will involve early mornings, and the schedule is always dependent on weather. Job sites are located across the province; candidates must be willing to travel.
The candidates must be:
- Finishing high school or a secondary education program in spring of 2017
- At least 17 years of age
- Possess a valid drivers license
- Have a reliable vehicle
Duties will include:
- Assisting landscape foremen
- Laying sod
- Installing irrigation
- Shoveling/raking dirt and gravel
- Planting trees and shrubs
- Grass cutting
- Other Outdoor Duties as assigned
