We presently are seeking four (4) Agriculture Equipment Operators for the 2017 season (normally April to October). We are currently developing 2 new bog sites in the Hudson Bay region and we are seeking talented individuals to add, enhance and complement our team.
Being a Field Equipment Operator with PT means
You will be operating farm tractors with implements (peat harvest vacuums and various harrows), loaders and other agricultural equipment;
Daily equipment checks to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition;
Ability to perform general maintenance of equipment for optimal operation;
Storing, monitoring and performing QC testing on harvested peat;
Physical and manual work required, some tasks related to weed management;
Being responsible to maintain the sites level of organization and cleanliness; and
Working safely everyday along with keeping the safety of others at the forefront
