Pool Janitor/Lifeguard  

Position Overview:
The City of Prince Albert is currently accepting applications for the casual position of Pool Janitor/Lifeguard in the Community Services Department.

These individuals will be responsible for Janitor duties and may also be scheduled for Lifeguard shifts for a total of up to 40 hours/week. Must be 18 years of age.

These positions could be utilized at the Kinsmen Water Park with a start date of April 24th for facility clean-up. Scheduled hours would commence beginning of May for Janitor training. Janitors must attend all Janitor Training sessions. Janitor hours will always take precedent over lifeguard hours.  

JANITOR START RATE OF PAY $16.37/HR

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintenance and recording of water quality which includes but is not limited to vacuum bottom of pool, maintain water temperature, performs water tests and maintain chemical balance, backwash filters.
Responsible for the operation and recording of the slides.
Responsible for sanitation and cleanliness of the facility.  

Required Qualifications:
-National Lifeguard Service,
-Standard First Aid/CPR-C/AED,
-Valid drivers license,
-Pool Operator Level 1 course.

All successful applicants will require a recent criminal record check, including Vulnerable Sector Search, prior to commencing employment with the City of Prince Albert.
