Position Title: Health Professional - Independent Contractor
As a recognized leader in the life and health insurance service industry, Hooper-Holmes Canada Limited is looking for dynamic health professionals to work, on a contractual basis, as mobile field examiners in all areas across Canada.
Job responsibilities:
Complete medical history questionnaires
Collect blood and urine specimens
Complete electrocardiograms
Obtain vitals: blood pressure, pulse, height and weight
Scheduling applicant appointments, communicating daily with office regarding case status
Designations required:
RN, RPN/LPN, Paramedic Technician (Level III or Advanced), Medical Laboratory Technicians, Physicians Assistants, Foreign Trained Physicians or other qualified Health Professionals
Job Requirements:
Current licensure, certification or training as required by provincial legislation
A valid driver's license and your own transportation with insurance
Excellent oral communication, organizational and technical skills
Current phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 draws completed within the past 6 months
Access to e-mail and computer
Hours are flexible but must be available to work daytime, evenings or weekends
Fluency in languages other than English or French is an asset
