Do you enjoy working creatively with kids? The Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum is seeking to hire an energetic and enthusiastic student to join our team this summer. Primary responsibilities include developing & delivering summer day camps for children ages 5-12. Duties also include developing and assisting with special summer events. Our camps are both educational and recreational, and focus strongly on history, culture, science, and nature. This position is mainly Monday-Friday with occasional weekend duties.
The ideal candidates will possess:
- experience with childrens program & lesson plan development
- leadership experience & positive social skills
- excellent communication & organizational skills
- ability to work both independently and as a team player
- creativity and enthusiasm
To be eligible for this position, you must be between 16 and 30 years of age, legally entitled to work in Canada (permanent citizen), be enrolled at the time of employment in a secondary or post-secondary school or institution, and returning to full-time studies in September 2017.
