Harvard Developments Inc. is a full service real estate company involved in land development, property management and leasing and asset management.The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who understands the value of attention to detail and is number savvy.
This position is responsible for assisting with the accounting and administration of commercial development projects including accounting, financing, financial analysis/projections, leasing/sales, insurance, documentation and monitoring deliverables, timelines and critical dates.
The successful candidate will have a post-secondary education in accounting or finance and at least three years accounting related experience. Experience in a real estate and/or an accounting firm environment would be an asset as well as those who have achieved a professional accounting designation.
What you will bring to the job:
*Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting with related experience;
*Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, accuracy and comprehension;
*Demonstrated computer proficiency using Microsoft Office suite, along with experience using financial management software;
*Strong math, critical thinking, problem solving and analytical capabilities;
*A solid understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial statements;
*Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to be a team player;
*Enjoyment of a busy and fast paced work environment.
