Transwest Air is currently looking for a casual Housekeeper to join its growing team in Buffalo Narrows, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:

    Sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors, and vacuum clean carpets, rugs and draperies.
    Clean corridors, stairways and common areas.
    Shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery.
    Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
    Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
    Clean metal fixtures and fittings, wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers and wipe down glass surfaces.
    Tidy up rooms, make up beds and change linens as required.
    Wash windows as required.
    Sort, wash, load, unload, fold and put away laundry, iron and press clothing and linen.
    Operate mechanized cleaning equipment.
    Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
    Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements.
    Effective communication with customers, peers, management, and various departments.

Skill Requirements:

    Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal skills that strengthen inter-company communications and relations.
    Self-motivated and able to work within given timelines.
    Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods.
    Physically fit, able to safely undertake physically demanding tasks.

Shift Requirements:

    Flexibility to work mornings, days, evenings and weekends
    Occasional on call shifts may be required
    Some travel may be required
