Description

MLTC is seekeing an energetic, motivated individual to fill the full-time permanent position of Health & Social Development Administrative Program Support. This individual plays a fundamental role in supporting the MLTC Health and Social Development Department's programming and employees.
This position will provide administrative support to the following programs: Research and Evaluation; Child Care / Daycare; Aboriginal Head Start; Maternal Child Health; Addictions; Resolution Health Support; Community Wellness and the Community Development Program Manager.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education from a recognized institute in office administration and procedures with a minimum of two (2) years current experience required in administrative / secretarial duties.
- Appropriate combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer software/hardware applications (i.e. Microsoft Office 2010 - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook etc.)
- Excellant organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple demands.
- Excellant interpersonal skills - must be able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times.
- Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Must be a team player and able to work independently, often with minimal supervision.
- Will demonstrate initiative and will be responsible for the quality of assigned work.
- Preference will be given to individuals who speak either Cree or Dene.
