POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions and provides administrative support to ensure office operations are maintained in an effective and efficient manner for all Thunderchild First Nation departments and companies.
He/She is responsible for the timely processing and distribution of purchase orders and ensures the cheque requisition process is carried out according to established policies and procedures as set out in the Thunderchild First Nation acts and policies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Post-secondary education and training in the form of a degree, diploma or certificate in accounting, bookkeeping or financial management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working with spreadsheets and data input
Preferred experience working with AccPac
Willing to be subjected to random alcohol and drug tests
