Description

SHEPP is a multi-employer, defined benefit pension plan established in 1962. We are a high-energy organisation committed to serving the best interests of our members. We do this through engagement, cooperation, accountability, hard work and effective communications. We are committed to providing our employees with a valuable work experience, opportunity to strike a good work/life balance and a competitive compensation package.

As a valuable member of the Information Technology team, the Senior Network Analyst provides advanced knowledge and technical skills in network systems (back-end hardware, software, security and infrastructure) to all IT projects and is responsible for implementing new hardware as well as planning for future upgrades. The Senior Network Analyst also analyses existing policies and provides support and recommendations for server hardware/software, security needs and conformity to industry standards, ensuring that network resources are used effectively. This position will also assist the Manager of Information Technology in providing knowledge and technical assistance to the Network Analyst where appropriate.

To succeed in this position you will possess a post-secondary degree or certificate in information management, computer science or related field supplemented by five or more years of experience in a Windows Server environment and one to two years of cyber security experience. CISSP or CASP certification would be considered a benefit and obtaining either the CISSP or CASP certification will be a requirement for the incumbent to pursue if currently not completed. A combination of equivalent education, training and experience will be considered.

You must also possess excellent organisational, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills; multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to handle workload changes as required.
