Hipperson Construction requires a Field Engineer On-Site Quality Control Manager to join our construction team on a project located in Swift Current, SK.
This is a contract position for the length of the project which is approximately 6 months.
Reporting to the Site Superintendent and Project Manager this role will be responsible for Quality Control and Assurance throughout project design, planning and construction.
Qualifications:
Experience with quality control/quality assurance including Inspection & Test Plans, conducting on-site inspections, third party testing co-ordination, and turnover packages.
Must have on-site experience on civil and/or industrial construction projects.
Knowledge of concrete foundations, pre-engineered building systems, and various trade work (building finishes, mechanical, electrical).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge of architectural standards, building codes involving concrete and pre-engineered steel buildings is an asset.
University degree or secondary institute diploma in engineering related discipline is required.
