Lake Country Co-op is currently accepting applications for a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician at the Prince Albert Marketplace Pharmacy.  

Primary Job Functions

Provide Legendary Service to all of our members and guests.  Accept written or refill Rx  requests and package prescriptions accordingly. Assist in replenishing the appropriate quantities of pharmaceuticals. Receive, price and merchandise Rx products. Key all products into the computerized system and ensure their accuracy. Protect all information by adhering to all pharmacy policies and protocols during customer interactions and file maintenance.  Bill 3rd party claims as necessary. Provide information and assist on all inquiries. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work station and Rx area.

Required Skills

-Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills

-Strong technical and analytical skills for the operation of the electronic equipment including data entry

-Strong mathematical skills: comfortable with numbers

-Attentive to detail and able to remain calm under pressure

Desired Skills/Experience

Graduate of a CCAPP accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program with successful completion of the hours and exams to obtain pharmacy technician licensesure. Previous Saskatchewan pharmacy experience is preferred. Previous Co-operative retail experience is deemed an asset.

Reporting:

Reports to the Pharmacy Manager.
