David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit for the role of Building Supplies Branch Manager for their Regina operations. They are one of Saskatchewan's leading suppliers of building materials, with 3 manufacturing facilities and 22 distribution branches throughout Canada.
The Role:
Manage all operations of the branch including customer service, inside sales, warehousing and support staff
Spearhead initiatives to increase revenue and profitability
Grow relationships with current clients and develop new channels for market penetration
Provide guidance, training and support to all branch employees
Develop strong working relationships with other branch and senior managers by sharing information related to best practices, market intelligence and business opportunities
Lead a safety oriented culture and ensure proper maintenance of the facility and equipment
Qualifications:
Demonstrated track record of sales and branch operations success in an industry relevant leadership role
Industry/position relevant postsecondary education
Progressive building supply/distribution warehouse experience complimented by strong product knowledge
Flexible, organized and team success driven
Above average Microsoft Office skills
Demonstrated accounting and financial competency
Valid drivers license and an adequate driving record
