EXPERIENCED line cook wanted! Fast paced environment, seasonal position.
The Candle Lake Golf Resort has ONE OPENING left to join our team for the 2017 summer season! The right candidate needs experience working in high-stress fast paced cooking environments, must already be comfortable with broiler, flat-top, saut, fryer and oven cooking, as well as prep and cleaning.
Candidate should be comfortable working in extremely busy environments while maintaining composure and sense of humour. They will work the line for afternoon & evening shifts until end of September. Duties include executing orders, stocking, prep, cleaning and maintaining equipment and kitchen, closing the kitchen to spotless standards. Will be part of a team with 7 other cooks.
Starting wage will be competitive with opportunity for advancement. Tipout system included on top of hourly rate. Staff housing on site is available, rent deducted directly from payroll.
Perks include cheap rent, plus discounts on food, golf and boating. Staff housing is minutes walking distance from clubhouse, marina and golf course.
Full time hours available plus there will be overtime during peak season (July and August). Must be comfortable in adult language and humour environment.
