ELL Coach (Early Learning Literacy)

Kinistin Education Centre invites applications for 1 full-time elementary classroom teacher for the remainder of the school year.  Duties to commence ASAP. We are seeking an energetic team teacher who is student focused and committed to the teaching profession.  Kinistin Education Centre is a Nursery to Grade 8 school with a student population of approximately 85 students, a teaching staff of 5 and additional support staff.  The Kinistin Saulteaux Nation is a community of approximately 500 people located approximately 40 km southwest of Tisdale in Northeast Saskatchewan.

Position requirements

Must possess a Bachelor of Education Degree
Committed to academic success for all learners and understand adaptive dimensions for differentiated instruction and assessment to meet diverse needs of students.
Collaborate with other classroom teachers, educational assistants, parents, specialists and other learning team members to help create a positive learning environment.
Value adaptive leadership, strong instructional leadership skills, and strong organizational skills.
Commitment and accountability to the teaching profession.
Awareness of Nakawe Culture & Language is an asset.
A current criminal record and vulnerable sector check
A valid drivers licence
