Creative Display Saskatchewan is Saskatchewans premier trade show exhibit and display company. We require an Office Manager/Accountant for a one year term starting June 1, 2017 or earlier with the opportunity to be considered for other roles in the company at the conclusion of the term. This position may be of interest to new graduates with general accounting and office management training looking to obtain broad work experience or to other suitably qualified candidates interested in a one year position.
Responsibilities:
Accounting responsibilities include all invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payable management, payroll, bank reconciliations, payroll and sales tax remittances, and banking. Other office functions include, ordering shipping and office supplies, general light duty shipping and receiving, booking travel arrangements, preparation of correspondence, general receptionist duties, and maintaining electronic and manual filing systems. The company has modern up to date records and systems in place and training will be provided.
Qualifications:
Accounting related Degree, Certificate or Diploma and/or minimum 2-5 years accounting
or bookkeeping related work experience
Experience with Sage Accounting or other computer bookkeeping software
Proficient in use of Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to operate general office equipment
Skills and Abilities:
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to organize and prioritize daily and monthly work
Strong attention to details and numerical accuracy
Good writing skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
