Golden Health Care is currently looking to fill a Maintenance position at Good Shepherd Villas in Prince Albert, a 63 suite Personal Care Home located at 1499 15th Ave East in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
We are seeking an individual with great teamwork skills and a passion to make a difference in the lives of seniors. A general overall knowledge of maintenance within a home setting is mandatory. The ability to assess electrical, mechanical and HVAC for providing repairs and maintenance is required or the ability to assess and secure appropriate licensed contractors.
The successful applicant must provide a valid Criminal Record check and hold a valid license. Benefit plan available.
Specific Maintenance Activities
- Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
- Remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
- Perform routine maintenance jobs and repairs
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on heating, cooling and ventilation systems
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on plumbing systems
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on appliances
- Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
- Paint
- Work with minimal supervision
