Description

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources  Prairies, the Human Resources Advisor is responsible for promoting the Company culture and values, all activities related to recruitment and selection, communication, employee benefits and employee/labour relations.

DUTIES
-    Act as a business partner for managers, supervisors and plant personnel on policies, procedures and practices pertaining to human resources, benefits and safety.
-    Champion the Saputo Culture to all levels of employees.
-    Assist with the development and maintenance of safety programs and required documentation to ensure compliance and completion of all new-hire safety orientations.
-    Perform various administrative duties related to human resources (ie. Administrative forms, maintain personnel files, etc).
-    Provide coaching and guidance to the business units by advising in areas of Labour Relations, Employment Standards, administration of Company policies and interpretation of the collective agreement.
-    Coordinate Company sponsored functions.
-    Perform miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
-    A degree/diploma in Human Resource Management
-    5+ Years Human Resource Generalist experience  familiarity in a Manufacturing and Warehousing environment would be an advantage
-    Strong general knowledge of Human Resources and personnel practices and principles, and all applicable labour, pay, benefits, health and safety laws and regulations.
-    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels within the company.
-    Strong Computer Skills; Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
-    Dependable and team oriented with a history of being able to work independently;
-    Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
