Under the supervision of Nawigizigweyas Education Centre (NEC) Principal we are advertising for the Aboriginal HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) Program Coordinator who is responsible for the development of a home instruction program for preschool youngsters to improve their linguistic, social and cognitive skills.Bachelor of Education Degree with specialization in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Development; and a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate.Minimum 2 years teaching experiencing in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Development
Effective interpersonal skills.Strong organizational, facilitation and program coordination skills.Experience working effectively with families and communities
Education or experience working with children with special needs would be an asset
Knowledge of Saulteaux language and culture would be an asset.Possess a valid drivers license.Ability to provide a criminal records check (CPIC) and vulnerable sector check.
