Description

Adecco is seeking candidates for a permanent full time Sign Installation & Service Technician with our client in Saskatoon, SK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and service of illuminated and non- illuminated signs. The ideal candidate will have proven job scheduling experience, mechanical and electrical skills combined with the finesse of a finishing carpenter.  You will have experience working on construction sites where you are dealing with other contractors, managing your installation crew (2-3 people), problem solving and adapting to various situations, as well as liaising with the client when necessary.

Responsibilities for the Sign Installation & Service Technician job will include:
- Installing & servicing different types of signage
- Job scheduling which includes managing and planning the weekly job scheduling, ensuring appropriate equipment in place; securing the required permits etc.
- Conduct precise field surveys
- Taking photos of completed installations
- Maintaining log books, cleanliness, and stock levels of vehicles
- Obtaining customer sign-offs and completing paperwork which includes
a) Documenting install service and travel time
b) Detailed description of work done
c) Listing all materials used
d) Completing Job Hazard Assessment forms for every job performed

Qualifications include:
- Mechanical and Electrical skills required
- Proven job scheduling experience
- Crane Operator experience is a major asset and candidates possessing a Crane operator ticket are highly desired
- Must have experience working with various hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50Lbs on a daily basis and MUST be very comfortable with heights
- Possess a valid class 5 drivers license

As a condition of employment, all new employees to safety sensitive positions must successfully complete a criminal background check and submit a drivers abstract.
