Description

Solutions Architect

As part of the Enterprise Solutions business unit, and as a member of the Networking and Hybrid Private Cloud Centre of Excellence (CoE) practice across Canada, this internal/external-facing role leads in defining, selecting and adopting network and related hardware, software and services.  This is an ideal opportunity for anyone living in Regina or Saskatoon.

The CoE currently encompasses the following technology fields:

-              Routing and Switching (DC, Core, Edge)
-              Wireless

-              Network Infrastructure Security
-              Collaboration
-              Compute
-              Hypervisor and/or Container solutions
-              Orchestration Solutions
-              Backup and Recovery

Acting as both a technical and business overlay to PCMs client-facing Account Managers (AMs), and working with other CoE architects, this individual leads client discussions and conceptualizes solutions, working with a broader team to translate those into functional specifications.

Requires 5 or more years of directly related work experience leading complex assignments, where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in developing recommendations. Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience would also be an asset. Strong communications, analytical, interpersonal, and selling skills required. Advanced vendor certifications from our primary vendor partners (Cisco, HPE, Aruba or Dell) are an asset.

As a condition of employment, this job is subject to the successful completion of the following Pre-employment conditions: Reference Checks, Criminal Background Checks and a Drivers Abstract if required for the role.
