Job Description: The Clinical Lead is accountable for the development and implementation of patient/family centred care (PFCC) initiatives and patient safety projects.  The incumbent works as a member of the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Team with the goal of improving quality and safety for patients, clients and residents of Sun Country Health Region. The Clinical Lead is a leader, educator, facilitator, motivator and coordinator of quality improvement programs and initiatives implemented by the region's clinical staff and departments. This position works closely with the Patient/Family Advisory Council to assist them in achieving their mandate.  

Required Qualifications

Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Bachelor Degree in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Psychiatric Nursing
Experience
Experience in group facilitation and the design and delivery of clinical education programs is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Leadership skills
Computer skills in such programs as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
Ability to identify opportunity for improvement and act as a change agent
Knowledge and experience in evaluation and leading process improvement projects, Continuous Quality Improvement methodology and tools (including Lean), change management and performance measurement
Demonstrated ability to integrate clinical knowledge (best practice) into strategies or activities to enhance clinical practice and patient outcome
Ability to organize work, organize and manage multiple projects, work under pressure and establish pri
