The following temporary employment opportunity is intended to introduce a voluntary self-identified Aboriginal applicant, who is either a student or recent graduate, to this job category at PotashCorp. This student position is offered in addition to other employment opportunities through the companys regular student hiring program.
The career opportunity is available at PotashCorp Lanigan, located 100km east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Student housing may be available for the successful applicant.
Duties will include providing technical support for the Mine Maintenance Engineering group and assisting with day-to-day backlog of work in the Mechanical Engineering Department.
The successful candidate will have completed a minimum of two years in a Mechanical Engineering program, with experience working in a mining/heavy industrial environment preferred. Superior interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential.
This temporary role is a full-time position anticipated between May 2017 and August 2017.
The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check. All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
