Description

Primary Purpose: To oversee Huskie Athletics game day operations, including coordination of Huskie Athletic events for all fifteen teams, hosting of home competitive events (non-conference, conference and play-offs). This involves all aspects of the event planning leading up to and at the event. Events occur every weekend from late August to mid-March annually.

Nature of Work: Reporting to the Athletic Director, this position handles fast-paced work, subject to constant internal and external deadlines, particularly from September to March. Maintains important relationships with various stakeholders including sponsors, student athletes, coaches from other institutions, media, alumni, recreation services staff and U of S students, faculty and staff. Works in an environment of continuous change and shifting priorities. Works closely with the ticketing and promotions coordinator to help ensure game days run smoothly and effectively. Regular evening and weekend work is required.
