Provincial Command Accountant/Bookkeeper required for Canadas Largest Veterans advocacy organization.
Ideal candidate will be organized, independent, have a great care for helping others.
Requirements:
3-5 years accounting experience & accounting certification preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Demonstrated experience with Simply Accounting
Duties include:
Daily bank reconciliations
Travel expense and reconciliations
Prepaid Expense maintenance
Accounts Payable and Receivable entries
Maintenance of Petty Cash
Payroll
Filing of GST, PST, Payroll, and other remittances
Remittance and maintenance of RRSP contributions
Filing of T4s and T4 Summary
Monthly General Journal adjustments
General administration duties
Greeting clients and members
Full Time
Hours Monday- Friday 8-4pm
Position needs to be filled immediately
