Do you want to join a large, reputable organization? Do you have experience with facilities management? Our client is looking for a Facilities Admin Assistant to join their team to cover a 1 year maternity leave.
As Facilities Assistant you will facilitate day to day operations of a busy downtown office.
You will be responsible for:
Welcoming visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone
Directing visitors by maintaining employee and department directories
Maintaining security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, issuing visitor badges.
Expediting courier packages/envelopes and verifying delivery as required.
Receiving courier packages and forwarding to appropriate personnel. Open, sort and deliver incoming mail.
Maintaining meeting and training rooms in good working order, manage meeting room set up requests.
Providing general administrative support
Assisting in coordinating facility needs with vendors/suppliers as require (janitorial care, leakage, repairs, snow clearing ect)
Liaising with IT; communication of projects/moves
Knowledge of special programs such as fire safety training, first aid, and ergonomics.
2-3 Years of Reception/ Facilities Management experience
