Description

The Development Officer participates and provides leadership for the identification cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major gifts from foundation, corporate, community and individual donors.  The Development Officer establishes and maintains professional and productive relationships with key volunteers and donors, providing strategic advice and support.  

When assessing your competencies for this role you recognize that you adhere to high ethical standards in fundraising and an acute understanding and practice at delivering exceptional donor stewardship. You have experience in implementing strategic thinking for the development of fundraising initiatives and a successful track record in revenue growth.  With superior verbal and written communications skills, above average critical thinking skills and an ability to work well within a committee structure you have succeeded in your endeavors.  

Your resume illustrates a minimum of three to five years experience in major gift fundraising and a post secondary degree in business management, non profit studies a related discipline or an equivalent combinations of education and experience.  A CFRE designation is desirable. You are comfortable with Raisers Edge, Net Community and all Microsoft Office Products.
