Key Outcomes:
The Manager, Financial Valuation plays a key role in reporting deliverables on various relevant risk metrics for the outstanding portfolios. Financial Valuation methodology and accuracy includes proper knowledge of the required mathematics and accounting treatment specific to the transaction in question. An understanding must exist for both mark-to-market accounting and hedge accounting for financial instruments.
This position will provide expertise to Concentra in developing and maintaining a derivative risk management program. This position will lead, identify, implement and make recommendations for a sustainable derivative risk management framework program for Concentra, including overseeing the transaction process for all derivative transactions. The Manager, Financial Valuation prepares required valuations, for accounting and risk purposes, on all derivative positions and any assets or liabilities that are mark-to-market every month as well as sensitivity analysis on open positions.
