Ace Oilfield Consulting is a 2500 acre grain farming operation and service well consulting business. Longshot Testing is an oil well testing service company that specializes in well fluid and gas recovery. Both companies share the same owners/operators. We are located SW of Redvers, Saskatchewan.
We are looking for someone to fill an Oilfield/Farm Do-it-all postion. This job requires someone who will be dedicated, committed and possesses the right skills and abilities to execute all jobs. We need a long term employee who has the drive to excel and the confidence to take on or learn how to do whatever tasks are at hand. This is NOT just a farm hand position. It is one of the most crucial positions for our company and should be taken serious when applying.
Requirements:
- EXPERIENCED CLASS 1A DRIVER
- Willing to work an unset schedule some of the time
- Must commit to work during busy times such as seeding and harvest
- Experience operating farm equipment and understanding of farm equipment mechanics
- Experience in the oil patch an asset
- All skills such as welding, carpentry and/or mechanics
- Ability to work with side by side with others or ALONE
- Must be physically fit and MOTIVATED
- Ability to follow direction from supervisor(s)
- Comfortable with giving direction to other staff
- Comfortable and content with doing all types of jobs, no matter the skill level
- Proficient in filling out paperwork and reports
- MUST be TRUSTWORTHY and HONEST
- H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS, TDG safety tickets an asset but not required
The right person will be paid a guaranteed salary, overtime if worked, and yearly bonus if offered. The employee must reside within 25 km of our business location. Employee will be put on a 3 month probationary period where there is no obligation by employee or employer to continue employment.
