Job Description: The Public Health Nurse delivers a full range of communtiy-based Public Health Services including pre and post-natal care, immunization, health counseling. You will also prepare and present information on various health issues/topics to individuals, families and groups.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Immunization Competencies Course
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Interpersonal skills
Organizational skills
Communication skills
Ability to communicate with and maintain an effective working relationship with clients from diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Assessment skills
Knowledge of community development
Knowledge of diverse health issues, culture and traditions
Knowledge of population health
Presentation skills

112 hours in a 3-week period (on-call rotation)
