The Community Health Nurse will work in public health areas of immunization, prenatal classes, and provide health screening and education to school and community populations. Some work in communicable disease programming (TB, STI/Blood Borne Infections, enteric outbreak) may be required.
This position requires completion of admin duties, such as monthly work plans, ordering of supplies, budget management, and reporting. The position requires work to be done collaboratively with a variety of clinic programs and community agencies. The employee will maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to PBCN Health Services' approved policies and procedures.

You must be eligible for registration in Saskatchewan. Prior experience in immunization programs, public health, public speaking, and working with prenatal clients is an asset.
Other assets: ability to speak cree, previous experience working with First Nations communities, previous northern nursing experiences.
Preference will be given to applicants with 1-2 years experience.
