Nose to Toes Wholife Pet Center is a busy Pet Salon & Spa with a storefront for Pet Health Food. The Pet Groomer position reports to the Head Certified Canine Master Stylist.
Ability to bath, brush, dry, clip nails
Ability to use clippers, scissors & stripping knives
Ability to groom a dog from start to finish
Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment while remaining calm at all times.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in a noisy environment
Ability to work unsupervised
Ability to obtain Pet First Aid Certification
Other skills/requirements include:
A friendly, "can do" attitude
A team player
Cash/debit experience an asset
Retail sales experience an asset
Superior customer service, dog and people skills an asset
Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and breeds
Either currently certified with the Canadian Professional Pet Stylists or an interest in obtaining Certification. Ability to groom a dog from start to finish including scissor work.
We require someone with a patient and calm demeanor with a genuine love for dogs and cats.
Only individuals with a minimum of 2 years experience as a groomer need apply.
