RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Covering the front desk reception
- Full cycle payroll for 18 employees including doing the deductions
- Key invoices in to Simply Accounting/Sage
- Some Accounts Receivable and other general accounting functions as required
- Type reports in Microsoft Word and data entry in to Microsoft Excel
- Filing, photocopying, and other administrative duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and standard accounting software (Sage or Simply Accounting)
- Highly organized and analytical, with outstanding attention to detail
- Proactive and team-focused, with a willingness to take on new challenges
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance is an asset
