The CFIA is seeking qualified applicants to fill positions in various Saskatchewan Locations. The duties of an Animal programs inspector include, but are not limited to: Performing inspections and activities related to Animals, their by-products and disease control.
Screening criteria:
1. Applicants must identify in their application the legal status that entitles them to work in Canada (Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status or work permit) and be prepared to show proof of this status upon request;
2. Completion of post-secondary education specializing in relevant technical sciences. CFIA Operations will apply a preference for university graduation with specialization in a field related to the functions of the position.
3. Experience in an animal industry or a related agricultural industry;
4. Experience using computer software (word processing, spreadsheets and email).

Salary: $46,518 to $64,742 per year
