Description

The Wyant Group is now accepting applications for a Fixed Operations Manager/Shop Foreman for Alfa Romeo of Saskatoon & Maserati of Saskatoon. With this amazing opportunity the selected candidate will be initially responsible for all Parts, Service and Technician responsibilities. We are looking for a person who excels at customer service, who will enjoy dealing with our amazing customers, loves working on amazing vehicles, has a passion for automobiles and someone who will enjoy working in a family environment.

Please note that the selected candidate will initially be responsible for Parts, Service and Technician responsibilities. As the business grows, additional employees will be added for the specific roles within the department.  

As the successful applicant you will:
    Be a Journeyman Automotive Service Technician
    Have great interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
-    Possess superior time-management skills and is able to prioritize requests
-    Have superior communication and customer service skills

In this exciting role, you will:
-    Examine vehicles to determine wear and extent of damage or malfunctions
-    Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers performance specifications
-    Be able to repair or replace all parts of a vehicle
-    Perform scheduled maintenance and service
-    Oversee all aspects of the Parts & Service department
-    Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problems
-    Secure agreement from customers before repairs; cover cost estimate; and approximate time when vehicles work will be completed
-    Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments and return phone messages promptly
-    Review work performed, answer any questions and explain charges and coverage
-    Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies
-    Prepare, maintain and update purchasing files, reports and price lists
-    Manage and process returns
