Description

The HSEC Administrator is responsible for performing all HSEC Administrator in team driven and professional manner. This is a term contract position.

The HSEC Administrator will demonstrate DMC's core values of: Zero Harm, Win-Win Client Relationships, People Development and Innovation.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Updates and maintains database for the HSEC department.
2. Communicates with management, staff, client and visitors, and acts as a resource for general HSEC inquiries and information.
3. Provides general administrative support to the HSEC Department.
4. Understand and maintain the process and steps associated with new document setups and updates.
5. Maintains all site HSEC records, filing and archiving.
6. Assists in organizing site visits including site access paperwork, orientation, etc.
7. Ensures personal commitment to health, safety and security standards and principles, both within in workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout the site.
8. Flexibility in schedule will be required from time to time to attend safety meetings and other deliverables as required.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
-    Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative role.
-    Post-secondary education is Business Administration or related field is required.
-    Experience in HSEC Administration is a definite asset.
-    Experience in Mining or Heavy Construction is desirable.
-    Proficient on full Microsoft suite (Excel and Word particularly) is required.
-    Exceptional written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
-    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-    Proactive, assertive and self-motivated.
-    Must have a "customer service approach" and excellent stakeholder management skills.
