40hrs/week (Approx 9 weeks)
The Summer Recreation & Activity Director Student will have the opportunity to serve with Christian Horizons participants of residential and day programs over the summer season. The successful applicant will be responsible to organize, implement and supervise activities for adults with developmental challenges. This role will give the student the opportunity to teach, mentor and model life and social skills throughout the summer.
Requirements: Funded through Service Canada, the student will work 40 hours a week for approximately 9 weeks, standard office hours. Please note that weekly hours and duration of this contract may vary and are dependent upon approval of funding. The successful candidate should be a college or university student, registered full-time in a relevant field of study during the past academic year and returning to full-time studies during the next academic year.
