Description

SLGC is looking for a no nonsense leader that has a proactive approach to execution of work and understands how important their role is in the proper planning and execution of work.
The Process Improvement Coordinator (PIC) must by have a CSO Certification and will be responsible for the following:
Review and (most importantly) implement the SLGCs HSE Manual and General Construction Manual;
Continually coach and mentor field construction staff in our operational procedures;
Work closely with field supervision to ensure our HSE and GC procedures are incorporated into our planning and execution strategies;
Continually audit and assess the effectiveness of our internal systems and processes;
Develop and provide recommendations for improvements to our systems;
Know, understand, communicate and ensure compliance with OH&S Act and Regulations;
Coordinated safety training, conduct orientations and workplace training, maintain staff training matrix, and complete daily & comprehensive reports;
Communicate & accomplish head office/corporate requirements. This includes, conduct meetings, presentation, and train workers on work operations & safety;
Attend & comprehend project specific meetings & safety impact;
Guide and coach a diverse group of employees that results in a team that can meet its goals & objectives while maintaining a healthy, productive, respectful and safe work environment
