Kihkntan Whkhikan (Learning House) is a multi-disciplinary program that will create opportunity for inter-generational learning and the delivery of therapeutic learning alternatives for residential school survivors and their descendants. Duties and responsibilities will include the planning and organizing of project activities and schedules; outreach and recruitment of participants as well as the coordination and supervision of all project activities.
Degree in Social Work, Education, Human Justice or Psychology or other related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience OR Diploma in a related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience;
Experience with counselling and case management for youth and adults considered hard-to-reach;
Experience with Financial statements and budgeting criteria
Cultural competency in serving Indigenous and socio-economically disadvantaged participants;
Knowledge of horticulture, creative industries, construction and/or green industry would be an asset;
Strong time management and multi-tasking skills;
Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision;
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, and other programs to produce reports, conduct tracking and organize data;
Valid Driver's License required;
First Aid Certificate, CPR Training would be an asset;
Criminal Records Check required;
