POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for maintaining appropriate levels of manpower and assuring targeted levels of equipment availability. You will ensure maintenance work requirements are efficiently coordinated, scheduled, and executed to deliver maximum equipment availability to the production departments within the established maintenance budget. You will be responsible for management of the maintenance department frontline supervisors and the shaft supervisor. You will monitor day-to-day work to ensure that it is performed in a safe and effective manner. You will contribute to the longer-term maintenance strategy and budget development.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements of the position:
Minimum of a Interprovincial Journeyperson certification
Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
Good verbal and written communication skills
Previous supervisory experience in a unionized environment
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
SAP experience (or similar CMMS)
Assets:
Technical Diploma or Degree
Change Management training
Lean Green Belt
Experience with implementing Operational Reliability in an industrial setting
Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewans North.
