Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) or required to obtain within 6 months of employment
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or required to obtain within 6 months of employment
PART Basic Level
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or required to obtain within 6 months of employment
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Level C Health Care Provider (HCP) - Heart & Stroke
Current CPR Certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or required to obtain
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to accept and implement change
Ability to adapt to changing conditions
Ability to assist and develop policies and procedures according to best practices
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships and communication with other health care professionals
Ability to conduct assessments, prioritize client needs, and develop treatment plans to meet needs regarding treatment with a client and family-centered approach to care
Ability to lead best practice
Ability to be proactive, flexible and creative in decision making
Ability to identify opportunity for improvement and act as a change agent
Demonstrated clinical competency including critical thinking skills and confidence to work autonomously.
