Our client seeks someone who wants to use their deep agricultural product knowledge to build and maintain relationships with long-term grower-customers; offering cost-effective alternatives that provide results. This role is vacant due to a recent promotion.
Does this sound like you?
- Passionate about agribusiness and adding value to western Canadian farmers
- Prefer to provide expertise over the phone rather than traveling regularly to be at a growers kitchen table
- 3+ years proven track record in crop protection and fertilizer product sales to Western Canadian agricultural producers
- A highly-motivated, results-driven, individual who gets a thrill out of selling products that improve crop yields and farm profitability.
- Able to clearly articulate value over the phone; providing exceptional account management and business development
- Applicable post-secondary or accreditation to be knowledgeable in the products offered
Our clients core business philosophy is to maximize grower profitability. Theyve built a successful business in the international procurement, production, packaging, selling, and distribution of fertilizers, crop protection products and inoculants to Canadian growers through a network of sales representatives. With their current focus on expanding territories in Alberta and Saskatchewan, they currently seek an Ag Business Representative to build on their success and take it to the next level.
