Description

Reporting to the Production Services Manager, this position is responsible for entering production and marketing data and supplying units and managers with required reports.  This position will be expected to cross train to provide assistance to others in the department including the Production Services Manager.    
Responsibilities include:
Enter pig production data from spreadsheets and manual records.
Identify errors and omissions and follow-up.
Run reports and review for accuracy.
Receive, import and update market sales information from packing plant.
Update pig movements in Pigtrace Canada Traceability program.
Timely and accurate data entry, including error correction
Advise Manager of data entry problems, delays and communication difficulties
Weekly review of team data, including identifying omissions or deletions
Other assignments as per Production Services Manager
Experience required:
Office Education Certificate or equivalent experience
Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel) and internet
Experience or knowledge in the pig industry, animal flow or willingness to learn
Self motivated, organized and detailed oriented
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to analyze and record numerical data
