Description

Prepare and maintain bookkeeping records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and guidelines set out by Social Services (CLSD) and Sask Housing.
Prepare documents of original entry, i.e. expense and payroll cheques, receipts, and bank deposits. Accurately record and process documents such as vouchers, expense claims, time reports and payroll.
Reconcile Bank statements monthly.
Prepare semi-monthly staff payroll & monthly remittances to Receiver General.
Prepare and distribute the participants pay on semi-monthly basis
Maintain petty cash fund.
Produce monthly and quarterly financial statements
Prepare and file GST and PST Tax Returns on timely basis.
Assist with annual budget preparation, as requested.
Assist Auditors with the preparation of annual financial statements and process necessary year-end entries, as required, under the direction
Prepare annual T4's
Complete month end for the group homes and participant funds.
