Description

Prairie Valley School Division has an opportunity for a permanent part-time (50%) Licensed Practical Nurse (Educational Assistant III) at Fort Qu'Appelle Elementary School commencing August 29, 2017. The successful candidate will work the equivalent of 3 hours and 15 minutes per day.
  
This position will be responsible for providing optimum care for students by:Ensuring student care and services are provided with established nursing standards and principles, physicians orders and administrative policies;
Assuring observance of required techniques in nursing care;
Monitoring students health, noting changes in conditions and assessing need for referral to doctors;
Processing and implementing physicians orders, including medication administration and treatments;
Other Educational Assistant duties as assigned.

Registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Licensed Practical Nurses
