The Hector Thiboutot Community School in Sandy Bay, Saskatchewan is a designated K-12 community school with approximately 566 students. There is professional staff compliment of 38 including two vice-principals supported by paraprofessional, clerical and library staff. Sandy Bay is a community of about 1500 located along the Churchill River system 443 km north east of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
This is a continuing, full-time teaching position to start August 2017.
Candidates who possess an Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma will be considered; preference will be given to candidates who are eligible for Saskatchewan teaching certification or Provisional Professional A teaching certification and have experience in Early Childhood Development.
Salary is according to the provincial grid plus a benefits package that includes subsidized, furnished housing and a northern living allowance.
