Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of lab work to include collection, processing and testing of urine.
Performs urine drug screen collections.
Processes patient specimens for laboratory testing.
Orders requested tests in computer, assists practitioners office and other healthcare providers in ordering tests and entering results into the computer.
Enters and retrieves patient data accurately.
Greet customers and patients
Schedule patient appointments
Verify patient insurance coverage, and follow up on benefits/authorizations
Place outbound calls to new customers and former patients for the purpose of building business and scheduling follow-up hearing tests and consultations
Input information into PMS (patient management system)
Clean and maintain equipment and instruments
Effectively manage inventory
Participate in at least 1 community outreach event per month to promote Swift Hearing brand and build referral database.
